Update

We are doing good up here in St. George. Over Easter weekend we did our traditional camping and all of our fun traditions. We had great food, fun Easter egg hunts and lots of laughter. Also we were able to celebrate with Nick's family as well. Bentley got a couple Easter baskets and the cutest Sunday outfit EVER! More pics to come... As for me and this unborn baby...I have until Friday morning at 9 AM. Let me tell you I can't wait! As for a name for this lil guy.........???????? Wish us luck! I was able to sit through a temple session this morning though and it brightened my day so much! There is so much to learn each time I go and it was just what I have needed lately. Thanks mom for going with me! I will post pics after the baby comes. Wish me luck

More Fun Projects...

My Good friend Summer is having a baby girl a few weeks after me so I thought I would take advantage of the opportunity to make something "GIRLY" for once. While I was up in St. George last my mom and I found these fun patterns and so this is how they turned out... The bow has a clip on the back and can be clipped on a headband.

The shoes are my favorite! You can make them different sizes, but I made them newborn so that she could have some cute photo's taken of her with just the shoes and bow on. I have seen some darling photo shoots like that so I was excited that they turned out so cute! She loved them.

I also had such a fun time shopping for a cute outfit etc. I hope to have a girl someday too!!

Just thought I would post a pic from our last jaunt to St. George last week. This is my good friend Jessi from St. george and we are at lunch at 25 and Main! Talk about the best place ever :) Thanks Jess for such a great time!

Finally!

Bentley just LOVES his Grandpa Westbrook so much! Grandpa brought his quad just so that he could take Bentley out on some rides. When Grandpa is around mom and dad don't exist!! He is right there by Grandpa every second. I love that he has this bond with him. This morning Bentley woke up asking Grandpa to go on the Voom Voom and sure enough right after breakfast Grandpa loaded him up and off they went for at least an hour! Also Bentley loves to just get in "Gampa's Tuck," (grandpa's truck) and drive it. He has been in and out of there many times in the last couple days! Bentley will be sad when he goes home! Finally here are some pictures of the before (dirt) and after (grass and garden) of the backyard! Thanks to Chris and Doug for helping us out!

Here is our garden! I am so excited to see how it does here in Kingman. Some things we are growing in our garden this year are: squash, tomatoes, cilantro, carrots, onion, peppers etc.

And I couldn't help but post some pic's with Bentley running and playing out in the back yard! We have been waiting for this day along time!!! He loves going outside.

Here is a pic of the beautiful bassinet that my mom got for me from Lil Wee Kids Boutique!! I love it. It's a Badger Basket Bassinet and eventhough I already have a bassinet my mom couldn't pass this up!! I am so glad she got it... I think it's darling!

My mom is amazing! She pieced this cute quilt for me along with others! I love you mom!

This quilt my mother in law pieced for me. It has different textures of fabric in it like corduroy (sp?) etc. Its so cute.

My mom put this little bassinet quilt together as well it has a sail boat on it. She did some had embroidery as well. She always makes everything so special.

The shower was great these are only a few pictures, but truly it was amazing! Great food, presents and friends! Thanks to everyone! I wish I would have gotten a picture with everyone that was there, but being the one the shower was for I wasn't taking pics so maybe Nichole or someone else has one??

I have so much to post but am under the weather today so I will post pics later, but I had a wonderful baby shower, we now have grass and a tree in our back yard and also a lovely garden!! My husband and father in law have been hard at work! Also baby will be here on the 17th... that's if my body will slow down on the contractions and wait til then! Bentley is doing great and Nick and him are over there sickness now. More pics to come soon...
