July 4th

So these pictures are in reverse order, but at least there on here right? The 4th was the night before we blessed Nixon and so we had so much family in town that I did a big BBQ in the back yard.

This is Michelle and her boys Clayton, Morgan and Logan watching the fire works from our front yard.
This grandma W. holding Bentley and his sweet cousin Abigail. They were so excited each time one would go off...Bentley kept yelling BOOM BOOM.

Here is my dad with Bentley and his first Sparkler!

This is Nick's mom's parents so his grandparents at the BBQ.

Nick was able to stop by quicklly and eat with us so this is the only quick shot we got on the 4th.

This is my brother's sweet daughter Abigail...isn't she to die for?

Here are all the kids (if aunt Stef is considered a kid still) from left to right
Halle, Stef and Bentley, Morgan, Clayton with Nixon, Logan and Abigail.

Here are some of the others starting with Mickell on the left then my dad and Bentley, my brother Morgan at the end then across the table is my twin Mckay and his wife Amy and then Josh.

My dad and my twin brother Mckay.

Here are the boys eating...Morgan, JT and Clayton.

My sweet brother just sat in the nursery forever and rocked little Nixon and then of course Bentley wanted to crawl up as well!

We caught Grandpa Teerlink snoozing outside in the 100+ degree weather.

Just relaxing inside.

Grandma W with Halle and Nixon. So a few things to remember about this 4th of July:
Halle stepping on a bee in the grass...OUCH!
Halle catching her darling dress on fire with a sparkler and Mckay getting the flames out.
31+ family and friends here at our house to celebrate with us!
Lots of good food!
Hope that the next year brings all the same except the bee's and fire's! Halle we are glad that you didn't get burned just your cute little dress did.

Baby Ella and Nixon

This is Nixon and Ella. My really good friend Jessica Richards stopped by while I was up at my mom's so that I could see her darling little girl. They are only a few weeks apart. They were both just snoozing away.

Jumpin Jacks

After returning from Lake Powell Nick and I decided to take the boys over to Jumpin Jacks....I thought Bentley would just love it, but no he cried and cried. I think that mostly he was scared of the big kids running around him and jumpin etc while he was trying to go down the slides etc.

Him waiving to me before he slid down.

Just one of his pouting faces I got on camera.

Our first trip to Lake Powell

Another fun Lake Powell trip!! It was a bit hectic with my two boys but well worth it. Bentley loved going on the voom voom (wave runner) with his daddy and on the tube with his mommy. He also couldn't be out of his papa's sight as seen below. He sure loves his grandpa's! We ate fantastic food as usual and created great memories. We are looking forward to going again in a few weeks hopefully we won't be having wind storms this trip.

Bentley and Doug (papa)
Halle and Bentley kissing!
Bentley on the voom voom (sorry they are so small)

Grandma and Nixon relaxing in the houseboat!

Josh with his two kids Halle and JT. (not really sure who took this pic but it was on my camera and the only one I have of them)

Bentley and I on the tube. He loved going fast he says.

Bentley and Nixon in there cute little matching outfits!

Bentley loves his brother!

Bentley and Nixon in there cute outfits...my sister-in-laws gave me Nixon's outfit not even knowing that I had already had the same one for Bentley so it worked out perfect!

Starting from way back...my sick little Bentley & of course it fell on MOTHERS DAY :(

Don't be fooled...This is me after I ESCAPED for one hour to run to sacrament to get out of cleaning up Bentley's throw up. I came home and opened some gifts and let me tell you it was a the only small moment of fun on my Mother's Day! Let me explain...

Here is Bentley with me after I opened his gift to me. Mind you he is only in a diaper because I got sick of washing throw up off of all his clothes.

This is my bed after I stripped the sheets and mattress pad off due to Bentley puking all over it.

Probably the only smile I captured that day because my poor little guy had a bad case of the flu along with high temps all day.

And here is just some of the laundry that I was doing all day Sunday...mind you it had throw up all over it.

Here is Bentley's bed after we took off the sheets from yet again MORE THROW UP!!!

And of course he could never get it into the bowl...here is our poor couch after we scrubbed all the throw up off.

And lastly here is my little Bentley so sick he couldn't even get off the floor hardly with his bowl by his side. So I thought that a one year old could at least throw up in the bowl...geesh who was I fooling? He never got it in the bowl..it was always just after he stepped on the carpet, sat on the couch or layed on a bed. Bentley was sick for a few days and got better, but lets just say I never want another Mother's day like that one!

I have been everywhere...

We are still in St. George from some fun vacationing, but I thought I would update a little. Mind you there won't be any pictures until I get home from my mom's etc.

June- We were in St. George and Lake Powell for 2 weeks. Love the lake...pics to come. Bentley loved riding on the "Vroom Vroom" (translation...Wave runner). He also loved riding in the boat and swimming in the water. It was a little bit exhausting though with 2 kids this year I must admit. Not to mention I was so nervous about Bentley getting out of my sight and drowning, but that didn't happen :)

July- Had over 31 family and friends over for a big 4th of July celebration. Celebrated by eating and watching the fireworks. Halle caught on fire and burned a baseball size hole in her cute dress. Also Halle stepped on a bee in our backyard. Other than that it was fun! Also on the 5th was Nixon's special day! We blessed him and had such a fun luncheon afterwards. On the 10th we left for a much need family reunion up in northern Utah at the Camelot lodge. It was so beautiful! We floated the Strawberry River, played softball, ate etc. It was so fun. After the reunion we went to stay with Nick's brother Bryson and his wife Kristen at there new home in Layton. It is so nice! We loved every minute of being there except the fact that we both came down with the flu! So now we are back at my mom's in St. George not sure when we will be home! Love VACATIONING!!!

O yeah today I went to Costco and bought the pans that I have been wanting forever! They are the best!

More to come...
